This case is made of a SubLeather that has the look and feel of real leather. The inside cover of the case has a strip of velcro and the edge of the case has another piece of velcro that allows the case to stand by adhering the pieces together. The Kindle clips into place and can swivel around in the case. There are black elastic bands that hold the case closed and they loop around from front to back. The inside of the case is a suede like material and the opening on the edge of the case allows for the use of buttons and the speakers.
